Dr. Massarat Bala has been in practice for over 20 years.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and serves as the Medical Director at Healing Hands Primary Care.

His residency in internal medicine was at St. Joseph Healthcare Centers and Hospital in Chicago, IL (affiliated with Northwestern University). He has served in various positions including Chairman of Internal Medicine at Northwest Community Hospital for four years, and medical director at several rehab centers and hospice programs.

He sees patients from the ages of 16 years but has particular interest in the elderly and seniors.  

Dr. Bala is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital, St. Alexius Medical Center and Alexian Brothers Medical Center and accepts most insurance plans.

He takes great interest in the well-being of all of his patients and strives to give the best medical care available.  With his many years of experience, he has empathy and compassion for the patient as a whole.
